SUSTAINABILITY

Caring for skin begins with caring for the world.

Nature provides extraordinary ingredients. We have a responsibility to protect the ecosystems that make them possible.

BETTER QUESTIONS

Consumers today ask better questions.

The future of skincare must answer them honestly. Here are the four we hold ourselves to.

Where did this ingredient come from?

Every botanical is documented back to its source - we know the where before we ever ask the what.

Was it harvested responsibly?

Sourcing that respects ecosystems, and the people and traditions that steward them.

Can the packaging be recycled?

Packaging is weighed as carefully as what goes inside it - a consideration built into COSMOS standards.

Does the company respect the environment?

Our standards are verified independently - not graded by our own marketing.
SOURCING STORIES

Stewardship, ingredient by ingredient.

Sustainability isn't a page on a website. It's a series of sourcing decisions. Three of ours:

Squalane

From olives & sugarcane
Squalane was once sourced from shark liver oil. Modern science changed that - ours comes from renewable plant sources like olives, sugarcane, and rice bran. Nature provides remarkable ingredients; our responsibility is to obtain them responsibly.

Kakadu Plum

Native Australian ecosystems
Indigenous Australian communities harvested Kakadu Plum for thousands of years before modern skincare existed. We believe honoring this ingredient means supporting sustainable harvesting that respects that knowledge - and helps preserve the ecosystems it comes from.

Shea Butter

West & Central African groves
A shea tree can take twenty years to bear its first harvest - then give for two hundred more. Working with it means working at nature's pace: patience, generational knowledge, and trees worth protecting.

INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED

Checked by someone who isn't us.

Our formulas are produced to COSMOS standards and independently reviewed by ECOCERT - covering responsible sourcing, renewable resources, environmentally conscious processing, and transparency.

GOOD STEWARDSHIP

Good stewardship is good skincare.

Every formula draws on ecosystems worth protecting — and is made in a way that honors them.
